INJOY Assistant FAQ

Q. How does the INJOY Assistant membership work?

INJOY Assistants provide steady, part-time, professional household support built around the school year. You’ll be matched with a trained, reliable employee who visits your home once a week for four hours to handle the tasks you choose — laundry, tidying, dishes, meal prep, organizing, and more.

Q. What months are included in the membership?

Membership follows your county’s school calendar (August–May) and automatically pauses during Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break.


Summer support packages may be available for families wanting year-round help — stay tuned!

Q. What if I join mid-year?

Families who join during an enrollment window (like November) receive a prorated rate for the remaining service weeks in the school year.

Q. Will I have the same Assistant every week?

Yes! Your Assistant is your person. She’ll learn your home, your preferences, and how you like things done.

 

Q. What if I love my Assistant and want to keep her next year?

We love that! Families who renew during our annual enrollment window get first priority to keep their current Assistant. When possible, we always try to continue those trusted relationships.

 

Q. What kinds of tasks can my Assistant help with?

Each visit flexes around your priorities. Assistants can help with:

  • Tidying

  • Laundry

  • Dishes

  • Organizing

  • Meal prep

  • Light housekeeping

  • Swapping seasonal clothes

  • Errands (with the errands bundle)
     

We don’t provide childcare, deep cleaning, or pet care.

Q. What’s included in the errands bundle?

Errands within a 20-mile round trip: grocery pickups, returns, post office runs, etc.


(Some neighborhoods receive a slightly extended mileage allowance at an adjusted rate.)


Q. Can I request extra service days during school breaks?

Yes! Based on availability, we’ll do our best to support you during busy seasons or special occasions. Holiday/break rates apply for visits outside the standard school-year schedule.

 

Q. How are INJOY Assistants vetted and trained?

All Assistants are W-2 employees. They complete:
 

  • A nationwide background check

  • Reference verification

  • INJOY’s pre-employment training on service standards, communication, and professionalism


Only then are they matched with a family.


Q. What happens if my Assistant is out or sick?

Because we hire moms around the school calendar, absences are rare. If one arises, we’ll try to schedule a qualified substitute. If a sub isn’t available, after the first missed visit we’ll credit your account for a makeup shift (based on availability).
 

Q. What if I need to skip a week?

Membership covers your full school year service window, so skipped visits aren’t rescheduled or refunded if you choose to cancel a week.
 

Q. How much does it cost?

2025–2026 membership pricing:
 

  • Standard: $6,250

  • Errands Bundle: $7,000

  • Annual Membership fee: $99
     

Pricing may adjust slightly based on household size and distance from major shopping areas.
 

Q. How do I get started?

Submit your interest form during open enrollment! Once matched, you’ll receive your Membership Agreement and payment link to secure your spot.
